The " Morning Post " states that England must act promptly to secure the exclusion of Chinese from Australia, otherwise the colonies will vindicate their independence after the manner of America. Sydney/, June 18. The official papers regarding the Chinese Conference have been published. The record of the proceedings will be communicated to the New Zealand representative (Hon R. Oliver). If he concurs m the resolutions arrived at, the fact will be cabled to Lord Knutsford. Newcastle, June 18 At a large meeting of miners it was decided to boycott the Chinese abso lutely. (Received June 19, 12.30 a.m.) Adelaide, Jane 19 The leading Chinese residents are much annoyed at the scant courtesy shewn their communication by the Chinese Conference, and propose to petition the Chinese Government on International us well as personal grounds against the intolerable hardships which they must suffer it the Bill proposed by the Conference is passed by the Colonial Legislatures.
