<, AS HBTJRTON— THURSDAY. (Before Captain Wray, SM.) The following evidence was taken In the case, Wilson v Wakanai R >ad Board, after we went to press yesterday ; — CIVIL OASES. A. Laakham, Meredith Witaon, T. Olephano and S. Brown gave evidence. — 0. 0. Fooke, surveyor to the Wakauul Road Board, knew the district well. The formation of the road had no appreciable effect m diverting water. There waa only one natural watercour&e noroaa the road, and the Board had always kept that op n — la crosa-ex^minatlon the witness stated tb at were it not foe the fences ereoted on private property overflow water would find its way to the sohool galllea. — The Magistrate reserved his decision, H. Martin v T. Price, claim 16i.— Mr Crisp for plaintiff, Mr Cnthbertson for defendant. —Judgment fee defendant.
