VICTORIA.
Mbiboubnb, Jane 7. : The Queen's fund now amounts to gjO.OOO.
After exhaustive experiments Railway Commissioners have finally determined to fix Westinghouse brakes on all Victorian Railways. It is announced that Government will appeal to the Privy Council agaiost the decision of the Supreme Court m ordering the classification of the State schools undrr class 5. The case involves a large sum as every pupil teacher would, under the order of the Court, be entitled to similar rank and salary as those previously classified underclass 5. It is not expected tbat the British Court will be ready for the opening of the Exhibition owing to the bungling made iv the allotment of space m London. In consequence of this nothing can be done m the Court till the plan arrives on the 22nd June.
