. ■» Mr Alfred Harrison reports his weekly tale on Saturday, 2nd June, as follows :— Cotfs. — Good cows close to calving are aeked for. Saturday's entry waß only of a medium kind, but all were sold as follows :— ln profit, £3 15a, £4 10*, £4 15s, £4 17a 6d, to £5, Pigs —There was a good entry and keen competition, every line being sold. Slips, 60, 7a, Bfl, 9«, 10a, 13s and 14s. Pottltry, — Fowls, Is 6d to 2s Id; ducks, 3b ; Turkeys, 6s 6d (small). Prodhob.— Derwents, 3s to 3s 6d; ehiokwheat, Is 9d ; oats, Is 8d ; sharps, 6s fid to 68 ; braa, 3s ; onions, Id ; tea, 14s ; apples, 4s 6d to be 6d ; carrots, la 6d to 2s ; peas, 7s ; mutton, Id to I£d ; carcase pork 691bs, 2£d ; 241, 2fd ; 202, Sid ; 173 and 196, 3£d ; 162, 3fd " Jmtlembnts. — Harrows, £3 to £4 10s ; sociable cart, £26; Whitechapel cart, £29; also, harness, covers, etc., etc. A large quantity of superior furniture ■old very well indeed, there being a very large attendance during the whole day.
