A MINISTER Iff POSSESSION. New Plymouth, June 1. A most disgraceful scene occurred today at the Presbyterian Ohuroh here Mr Breach, who was minlater for several years at the old ohuroh (slnoe burned dowu), has suddenly aiserted some claim to tho new building, for alleged arrears of salary. He took possession of the churoh on Thursday, taking cff the old look, putting on a nevr one, and placing 9 padlook on the gato. When the ohuroh ' committee became aware of this action, I they procured the assistance of two polloo- | men and a locksmith, who burst open the , door. While so engiged Mr Broaoh came on the scene, rashod excitedly at the ' constables, and endeavored to force an ' entrance into the churoh. A scuflU ensued between the polfea and Mr Breach, whloh 1 ended (n Mr Broach, after considerable I difficulty, being ejected from tbo premises. < A watchman has been placed In the . building all night to guard against another ] attempt to t=»ke possession,
