The total quantity of wheat afloat for the United Kingdom is 2,720,000 quarters, and for the Continent 484,000 quarters* The American visible supply of wheat is 29,250,000 bushels. The weekly returns of the Bank of England, published to-day, show the total reserve m notes and bullion ;£i 1,400,000, and the proportion of reserve to liabilities at 38 per cent, being an increase of on the total reserves, and an increase of 2 per cent on the proportion of reserve to liabilities. The wool arrivals to date amount to 260,000 bales,
