QUEENSLAND.
Brisbane, May 15, Terrible weather has been experienced on the Northern Coast. At Marble Island, where a number of men are employed, the weather was so boisterous that the men were reduced to the verge of starvation, it being impossible to convey supplies to the island. The dutter Petrel, which has been missing for some time, has been found stranded at at Cape Kimberley, near Cairns; It is supposed that the native crew murdered the captain, Auguste Louisa, a Frenchman, who was the only European on board, ran the vessel ashore, land then made off.
