MOUNT SOMERS.
The Annual meeting of ratepayers m the Mount Somem road distriot, was held m the Board's office on Wednesday, M*y 2bd. About six ratepayers were present. Mr Walker, the Chairman of the Board, presided,. The Ob airman stated that owing to changes m the department, the Biard't accounts had not yet been audited, but the Board fully believed them to be correot. The statement of rec9ipts and expenditure for the year ending 31st March, 1883, was then read. T On the motion of Mr Hood, seconded by Mr Morgan, the balance-sheet was adopted. A vote of thanks to the Chairman and member's of the Board terminated the meeting.
