AUCTIONEER'S REPORT.
Mr Peter Williams, (for Messrs Friedlander Bros.) reports having held their weekly aala of horses on Saturday, gthinst., at their East , street Horse Bazaar. Fifteen horses were entered, out of whioh we placed 13. There was a fair attendance of buyers, but the bidding was not very brisk, the former not having quite made up their mind what to do. The following are the prices obtained :— First* " ' class draught mare, £24 ; ditto filly, £24 } colls, £15, £11 ; medium draughts, £10, £11, £13 53; inferior, £6 10s ; hacks, £8 15a to £10. Pigs— Sows, £1 7s 6d; good stores, 18a 6d ; weaners, 10s to 11s. Poultry— Fowls, Is 5d to 3s j duoks, 8s j i geese, 5s per pair. ' Implements — Duncan drill, £21 10s ; plough and harrows, fair prioes ; spring dray, £15 ; spring oart, £5 10s. . ... '.-'•'. Produce— Derwent potatoes (Oamaru), 8s • per bag; looal 4s 6d to sa ; bran, 8s 6d per bag ; oats, Is 8d to Is 9d per bushel ; fowls' wheat, 6s 9d per bag ; oheeae, 3d to 4d per 1b; onions, Jd per lb; carrots, 3a per bag; tea, 12s 6d per box; prime mutton, lid to '■' 2dperlb.
