SAMOA.
In the House of Commons, Sir James Fergusson, replying to a question by Mr Wm. McArthur, said that the German Government had announced their intention of withdrawing from the Samoan Convention, and to this England consented, The reply made no mention of whether England recognised Tamasese as king of the island
