London, May 5. The Government intend to introduce a Bill giving authority to borrow money on the security of the Suez Canal shares, and the amount so borrowed will be expended on the defence of the coaling stations. . The National Defence Bill provides for ihe calling out of the Yeomanry, Volunteers, Naval and Artillery Volunteers, whenever the Militia and Naval Reserves are ordered out for active service, and also that m case of emergency the Government would have power to appropriate horse and vehicle traffic.
