(per press association.) London, May 2. The Oberon's wheat cargo has been sold at 345. An Australian cargo of 8900 quarters, May shipment, has been disposed of at 33s 6d ; 11,500 quarters, March shipment, has been sold at 3d less. Three hundred bags of Queensland sugar have been sold at from 12s 6d to 13s 3d. At the wool sale to-day bidding, was spirited, and prices show an upward tendency, Sydney. May 3. The horse market is fairly supplied, though there is a brisk demand for firstclass heavy draught horses at from £25 to £35 ; medium draught mares and geldings, £14 to £22 ; harness horses, £20 to £35. Oats are easier from 2s Id to 2s 3d } maize is steady at 2s 5d ; bran, 9d ; pollard, 9^d ; potatoes, 60s ; Warnambool potatoes, 50s, with a downward tendency ; onions, 80s ; chick wheat, 2s 9d to 2s lOd ; milling wheat, 8s 3.d to 3s 6d ; barley for seed, 8s ; imported butter, 9d to Is ; local make, Is 3d ; cheese, sd, loaf sizes s£d to 6d j oatmeal, £11 to £12 10s.
