Letters were read— (l) From Mr Steele, re cleaning out ohannel on Alford Forest road. — Mr Steele to ba informed that the I work will he done. (2) From Mr Moiaon I re water on land at Greek road. — To be i Informed that work 19 let. (3) From Mr McLean, complaining of gorse on top end of Middle road, Allenton. (4) From the Ohief Surveyor, at.tlog tbat the sub* division of No. 5 Ward mot with no objections from his offioe. (5) From the County Council, te exhibiting roll ln offije. (6) From Returning Officer, stating that the vacancies had been filled without any eleotion. WOBK3. The Overseer's report was read, and it' waa decided to attend to the following works, to be m by Tuesday next :— Shingling Lauriston road, about 160 chains ; shingling roads m Allenton, about 90 ohalns". WATER RAOEB. It was deoided to call the attentljn of the County Oounoll to the leakage of raoe at crossing near Mr Grlgg's property on Boundary road at Dromore, and to get definite information as to when the culvert at test ohannel. will bu removed to the dlreot line of road. TENDERS. Tenders were opened for works adver- • tlsed, and those of James Taylor, for ford and conduit ; James Tayior and Funge, bridge at Black's road ; Thomas Andrews, oulvert at O'Shea'd, were aooepted, PAYMENTS. Accounts amounting to £91 13-. 6d were passed for payment, and the Board adjourned.
