A frontage in Elizabeth street, Melbourne, has just been sold at £1200 a foot. Soott'a Hotel in the same city haa only 60 feet ol frontage, and it is not a remarkably imposing building. It is the leading hotel in the ooloniea, however, and was reoently knooked down at auotion for £100,000.
