London, April 20. At the woo! auction to-day 14,000 bales were sold. London, April 21. The frozen meat by the steamer Liguria, from Melbourne, is selling at 35|d per lb. An Australian cargo of 6000 quarters of wheat has been sold for shipment to the Continent at 33s 6d, The cargo by the Triton has been sold for shipment to the Continent at 34s 3d. At the wool anctions to-day all good crossbreds, greasy, and scoured realised full prices, and m some instances there was an improvement on last quotations. Medium qualities maintain February closing rates, but inferior and faulty qualities are weak and irregular. London, April 22. New Zealand butter ranges from 29s 1 to 84s, and the market has a downward tendency. At the wool sale yesterday 13,000 bales were disposed of. Greasy combings 5/ere cleared and the prospects are improving.
