CONDITION OF THE EMPEROR

Berlin, April 21. Fresh abscesses have appeared m the trachea of the Emperor, who is suffering from fainting fits, and there is an appearance of dropsy having set m. His Majesty is unable to speak. The medical gentlemen m attendance upon him have ordered that the canula inserted m his throat should be cleaned every few minutes. Berlin, April 22 The temperature of the Emperor is lower, his breathing is easier, and his cough is less frequent. The physicians regard this improvement m his condition as only another phase of the disease from which he is suffering His Majesty's condition is considered to be moßt critical, though he may pull through for some weeks. Her Majesty the Queen is on her way ' to Berlin, and returns to Windsor on Thursday. Bsblik, April 21. Ihe daily bulletins issued respecting the Emperor's health are less hopeful, and state that the fever increases nightly.
