(PER PRESB ASSOCIATION.,) Auckland. April 15. The Eon H. Coamberlin waa found drowned las^t night m a water hole neat Urury. He has been missing since Thurs day last, but was supposed to have returoed to Auckland He had gone to Drury to look after some property belonging to him there, and m Thursday last went out with a spade ani bucket. Telegrams arriving from Mrs Chamberlin enquiring when be was coming home aroufipd the suspicion that something was wrong, and a search resulted m finding the body. The affair is supposed to be purely accidental, Mr Cbamberlin i fa 1 ling into a pit or well dug by diggers !to collect water. Mr Chamberlin was prospecting for coal at the time he mat his death.
