(per press association.) London, April 11. At the wool sales to-day 13,000 bales were sold. London, April 12. There is a general decline in colonial stocks. New Zealand Fours, ;£ioi. Five per Cents, and Consols unchanged. Wheat is quiet. Prices are steady at last quotations. Leather has advanced a half-penny. Sydney, April 12 New Zealand potatoes, 60s to 655 ; Warnambool potatoes, to 555; onions, 70s ; feed oats, as 3d to 2s 4d ; seed oms, 23 to 2s 3d; bran, 8d to B}£d ; pollard, o^d j Cape barley, 3s ; English barley, 4s; butter is steady at 8d to rod ; cheese, 3d to 4d (loaf size sdj; bacon, od too^d; hams, is to is o^d; maize, new crop, 2s sd to 2s 6d ; fowls' wheat, 2s 7d to 2s 9d. There is great activity in the coal trade with San Francisco, and vessels are arriving daily to load for there. At the auction sales to-day Kauri flooring brought 18s, hewn logs gs, flitches 12s 3d. . Hobart, April 12. breadstuff's are easier. Good wheat, 3s 5d ; medium, 3s ; flour, roller made, £Z 15s j oats, as 1 id; barley, rnalting, 5s 2d ; maize is quiet j bran, Itd \ sugars, £zi. Adelaide, April 12 Nothing is doing in breadstuff's. Prices are unchanged since last quotations. Brisbane, April 12 New Zealand cheese, factory made, 7d to ?j4d ; some prime lots recently forced on the market were sold at a heavy loss.
