Report sayß that a Melbourne Syndicate have opsned negotiations with the owners of Okororire Hot Springs, Oxford, Waikato with a view to tho purchase or lease of the springs as a sanitarium, Greymouth, March 20. Tho Harbor Board received a telegram from the Government to-day requesting to know when thoy were going to resign, and asking them to Btate definitely vhether they intended to do so, and •when. This la tho first intimation the Board h&a had from the Government, and the telegram camo as a great Burprlse. It Is supposed that a circular similar to that aent; to the Weatport Hoard is on board rhe Maori which has been outside tho bar for Beveral days.
