Jrisiuj; March 34. At a meeting oi me German Club, held last evening, it was determined to establish a fund to assist distressed Germans, m memory of the late Emperor.
It is feared some difficulty will be experienced m arranging a review of the colonial troops, as proposed to be held the first week of the Exhibition. The Queensland Government was the only one that answered the circular.
Sir Isamuel Griffiths, the Premier, dejiyered a speeph at m the course of which he gajd he regretted to learn that Chinese had taken to sheep shearing, and also stated that Parliament would have to take steps to see that the revenue did not suffer.
