The father and Beven ohildren have uinoe been rescued alive, bu!; the mother and one child were found dead. The Blip occurred near the Welcome Oornpany'a tnilfnga dam In Boatman's towoahip. There was trdmsndoua excitement there all day, the people working frantically to rescuo those burled. Tne slip came without warnlrg while the inmatns were aaleep, and cariied the cottage 30ffc before It, and the melancholy nataatropho haa oaat a heavy yloora over the community.
