Dunedin, March 4, The funaral of John MoOntoheon, who was drowned at St. Olalr while trying to save life, took plaoe to-day and was very largely attended, the City, Port Chalmers, and Suburban Fire Brigades members attending. Cannon, who saved Mies Jeffrey after McCutohaon was drowned m tbe attempt, waa presented last night with a gold watch as a mark of appreciation of his services.
