The ecqniry into the Bellinger etrlklog on the Waiongora reef, off Wultara, olosed last evening. After hearing the evidence, Mr Thompson, Oolluotor of Customs, telegraphed to the Marine Department, Wellington, taking for an .official enquiry before a Resident Magistrate and Nautical Assessor, as certain things wore disclosed m the evidence necessitating snoh a coarse; Captain Bendall, of the Underwriters' Association, m at Waitara.
The Galrlooh is now trading to the breakwater, owing to there being Icbs water m the Waitara river than has been known for yearn
