The " Taieri Advooato ' reports that a well known farmer of burly build, residing a Bhort distance from the Outram railway station, determined upon taking advantage of the fine weather on arecent Sunday and started hia men harvesting. Such a thing as this oould not fail to attract attention and the elders of the West Taieri Ghuroh took the matter into consideration. After duo deliberation a resolve was oome to and the minister of the ohuroh called at the farmer's residence with the information that he {the farmer) was not to attend the Lord's Table any more.
