Store Cattle— A moderate number yardea, a few good lineß among the number. Buyers not very anxious, rates about on a level with late quotations. A line of well-grown three-year-old steers, nearly fat, sold at £5 per head ; a line of t«e year-olds m baokward condition, at £2 17a 6d ; other lines at recent values,

Dairy Cattle— A fair entry of mode* rate quality, demand only middling. The best young oows sold up to £6 sa; ordinary sorts £3 to £4

Fat Shbbp — k tmall entry, quality varied, demand both local and for export, and daring the earlier part of the sale brisk with an advanoo of from Is to Is 6a per head, towards the clone of the sale, however, competition gave way and the market closed on a level with last (reek's priceß. Stoke Sheep— A moderate number of store sheep offering, The demand for young sheep, both wethers and ewes, continues good ; Bales to-day of the former going to 6s 8d per head, and for the latter 6s Id. Fax Lambs— A fairly large entry, some lines of exceptionally good quality being on offer, the demand was active, buyers for export taking all the moat suitable lines, for whloh from 7a to 8i Id was paid. Second-rate sorts sold at from 5a to 6j, inferior 33 upwards.

Pias— A very heavy entry, last week's market bribglng sellers to the fore. The demand was again good, bat value show a falling off from that market, but were still high Small stores sold at from 9a to 11s, strong stores 16s to 245, porkers 26j to g3s. • «
