Me ia reported to be a son of a Director of the Bank of England, and related to a well known Anglican Bishop at Home. For some time past the young mnn had been paying attentions to a widoered lady with the resu t he was accepted as her affianced husbind On the strength of this he borrowed a large sum of money from the lady and also two gold watches. He then procoeded to furnish a house, and goods were obtained from a local tradesman, who has now issued a wurrant on the grounds that the ra in is about to leave the co^ny ~
