Melbodrnb F -braary 8 The Government have decided to withdraw the prohibition on the importation of stock. Mr Baker has obtained I damages for injuries which he sustained m the Windsor railway accident. The amount claimed was j£io,ooo. Another action for damages, arising out of the recent railway accident at Windsor, is pending, a doctor who was injured on the occasion having instructed his solicitor to commence proceedings for the recovery of jQ 1 2,000.
