& Convention of wool men and flookmasters was convened at Washington on January 11th. The growers and dealeri are united m opposition to President Cleveland's proposed reduction of the duty on wool, but manufacturers are lukewarm. 0. Delano, President of the Wool-growers' Association, has issued an address to flock* masters m the United States to use their influence against Mr Cleveland's Freetrade views aa contained m the last Presidential tariff message. The wool-masters number about 1,000,000 voters, and give employment to about 1,000,000 more,
