Thcro was a large procession, m which twenty-soven societies took part, representing all the industries ] m? the colony. Lord Oarrington laid" the foundation stone of the Trades Hall, and at tho conclusion of the ceremony the procession proceeded to the Prince Alfred Park and the Exhibition building. A grand gala is now being held. Tho Wesljyan Conference have decided to establish a Centennial 1 hanksgiving Fund of £50,000, and m one hour tho subscription m aid of it amounted to £7200.
