Mr T. Bullock r.po. ta for the week ending Saturday, January 2L ! — There was one of tbe largest entries of horses for the season, viz, 59. Theie was a very good attendance of farmers, but biddings were not nearly so spirited aa at the previous Saturday's sale, nevertheleas a large proportion of the entry, especially the medium draughts, were sold at satisfactory prioes. There were _o really first-class draughts offered. For light harness horeeß biddings were very slow, m fact it was difficult to effect sales for these or hacks. Out of a total entry of 59, 27 were sold at the fol owing prices, viz. : — On account of Mr Mcßride, Puimeratou South, — Medium draughts, of a light description, 5 year olds, £15 £18, £21 ; 4 year old, broken to p'ougb, £18 6s ; 3 year olds, unbroken, light, £11, £13, £16 10s ; and for a 4 year old cob, £10 On aojount of others, —Medium draughts, 4 year olds, £17 lOh, £19 ; do. ot a lighter dt scriptioo, £11 10a, £15 ; 5 year old, £16 ss ; 3 year old, light, £17 10s; inferior, £9 15s; aged, of a good stamp, £16 10* to £21 ; inferior, £7 10s, £10, £12, £12 6a. £13 ss. £14 10s There were Bgain buyers present for first-class draughts or better sorts than those sold, which cou'd not be supplied .
