Upon being submitted to examination by Mr Nells on, watohmaker, the identity of the ring was proved, and now the question arises— How came the ring m Mr Clement's garden, where Mrs Potter never wan, and how came it to be enclosed m a piece of pie crust t It ia probable that tbe solution of the mystery will never be arrived at.
