Wellington, January 13. Messrs T. Kennedy, MoDonald and Co, held another successful sale of tha Wellington and Manawatu Railway Com* pany's lands to-day, twenty three bush sections, containing 2929 aoreo, realising an average of £1 17s 104 per aore, or a total of £6546 ; 77 suburban township seotlons, oootalnlng 199 acres, reached. an average of £5 4) 51 per Sore, or ft total of £1034. The total proceeds of the sale amounted to £6580. There were some •ix hundred persons present, Including many from the South Island.
