Thomas McKay was drowned iv the Waluku river on S-turday. McK»y was married to a Maori woman only three <*eeks ago la (iisborne, and his married life was very nnbappy, and deceased was .caving his Wife whan he was drowned. He left Waimotinl Hotel on horsebaok, and the horse returned without his ?lder two hours afterwards. On search being made the body was found In tho river. Deoeased was about forty years old, and a native of Scotland.
