... GIBBOBNB, January 12. At the Supreme Court, m banco, Mr Crisp moved that W. B-ftaßey, solicitor, bo committed for contempt m having failed to comply wfih an order of tho Supreme Oaurt direoting him to pay Mr Maud monies which he had received as solooitor. The Chief Jnotico said tbo application Bhould have been made to strike Vfr Brasaey ofl *he roll. Mr Oornford ippeared for Mr Braseey, and said he wan absolutely unable to pay. The Oblef Jua'oe Biid ho mast commit Mr Brsmey to the Napier Gaol. Mr Oornoord asked for an adjournment, to enable Mr Braaaey bo file his iohedule, Hla Honor s»ld that qrould not provide a remedy. Mr Crisp (nnßented to adjourn for three hours, which was granted. On resuming Mr Orisp announced that the money had ?een paid, aod Mr Braasey, who was In msto'.yof tbe Sheriff, waa discharged.
