HORSE MARKET.
Mr T. Bullock reports for the week ending Saturday, January 7th:— There was again a large entry of horeeß, viz , 38, and a very gocd attendance of farmers and other country settler*, and biddings were more animated than at the previous ft&tardty's sale, but the class of horses offered were only of a medium stamp, and prfeei realised accordingly. There were no first class draughts. Out of the day's entry of 38, 23 were sold, at the followins prices, v z :— Five-year-old medium draughts, £19. £21 10* ; aged, of a fairly good stamp, £13, £14, up to £19 ; inferior, £8 10#, £9, £9 I 0«, £11 ; 4 yearolds, light, £10 10s, £13 6*, £14, and for » better stamp np to £18 10s ; 3-year-olds, £10, £13 10j ; light harness horses, £8, £8 10s ; inferior. £5 sa, £6 10*. Haoks. —Little demand, only thoce of an Inferior ■tamp changed hands at low figures. Sundries. — Second-hand McGurmick twine binder, £22 ; MoOormlok wire binder, £8 * do £8 ; drsy, £5 10s ; saddle and bridle, £2 10j. A quantity of harness at market rates,
