Mr Alfred Harrison reportß his weekly bblo as follows, Saturday, December 31st :- Cows. — A very good entry, but sales dull. Springers sold from 50d to £4 16a ; stores, 25s to 50a. Two heifers brought | 70s each ; calves, Is 6d to 3s each. Pias.— Demand Jar m excess of supply. All entries Bold at about late high rates. Stores, 14s to 16s £d ; slips, 10s 6d, 10a 9d, 13s 6d to 14j. Poultry.— Fowls, la 6d to 2s 6d ; ducks, 2s 9d, 3s, 3j 3d ; geese, 5s 6 i to 6s, Implements, etc.— Wood Reaper, £10 ; Deering, £5 ; spring trap, £10 10s and 30s Harnkss and Saddler*.— A few seta of harnets, also saddles and bridles, were eagerly competed for and sold well. Produce. — Derwents, 2s 6d ; new potatoes, Id to l£d per 1b ; chickwheat, 2s to 2s 6d ; oats, Is 7d p?r bushel ; flour, 10a ; sharps, 6s ; bran, 3s 6d ; mutton, Id and l£d perlb ; cheese, 2d to 3d per 1b ; hams and bacon, Id to 5d per lb. Furniture and Sundries as usual.
