Mr T. Bullock reports for the week enci'ng Patunluy, December 31et : — There was a large entry of horses, viz £8, and a vory good attendance of farmers and other country settlors, Out b ddingson tho wholo ; wera languid compared to the previous Saturday. This can bo ncceun ed for to a certain extent, on account of the major part of tbe bois.-s offered beiag only ot a very medium stamp. There wera no first-class draughts offered, and the reserves placed on a number of the medium draughts were considered exces- 1 Hive. Out of tbe day's entry of 38, 16 wore cold as follows, viz :— Unbroken 3 year old medium draughts, £14, £14 aiid up to £20; aged, £14 ss, £16; inferior. £4, £6 ; light harness horses, £5 ss, £5 10a, £6 sa, £6 15s, £8 16 j, according to description ; hacks, £4 15s, £5 10s ; uobrokeo 3-year-old, £4 ss.
