George Brown, aged about eight years, son of Mr Samuel Bro»n, Mayur of Wellington, was killed this afternoon. He was riding m a cart opposite his father's residence when the horse baoked over a uteep cutting, the poor lad receiving suoh Injuries that death resulted In a few minutes. The driver of the cart escaped with a few bruises. Mr and Mrs Brown are absent m the South, having gone down yesterday with the intention of asoendlng Mount Cook.
