The Addington market yesterday wm thin m all departments, and the attendauoe was small.
Fat Catilu.— The supply was limited. Tyro nice lines of good qaallty combined with light w eight oold readily, but heavy cattle, aa Is usual at thia aeaaon, were not wanted. The moat desirable lot aold at J7* per JOOlba, heavier at 15i, Booondary and Inferior qualltlea brought very low rates. Very few store oattle were yarded, and transactions were not of sufficient importance to found quotations upon, There was a decided Improvement m the demand for dairy atook, aud some good oowa being available, an advance of £1 per head on laat week'i valuea waa obtained. Good young oowi and springers brought £4 10a to £5 12c 6d per head. Oalvea continue at trifling prices. Sheep.— Very few pens of good sheep were m the market, the balk of the supply conaiating of crossbred ewes of various ages. Iv Beoond olaaa mutton there was a fall of 6d to Is per head, good fat ewes Belling at 4< 6d to 5a 64 etch ; mixed lines at 6s to 7i. There was sa active demand for export, and, the supply of saitable oheep being very email, a rise of 6d to la per bead waa got for them, up to 11s 9i being realised. • Jigs.-— Prices gave way a little, though there were buyers for e7ery line, and an ; ivei-aga decline may be quoted of 10 pec cent.
