GOLD DISCOVERY.
Brisbane, Ceoember 28. # A letter has been received from the
prospecting party at Mount McDonald, which states that millions of tons of "stuff" consisting for the most part of dry volcanic ash, have been found m the mountain, measuring 800 feet m height, and three miles m circumference. It has not yet been proved whether gold runs through the mountain.
