WANTING DAMAGES.

Sydney, December 12. Mr Dibbs has commenced an action for damages against the " Daily Telegraph " m connection with the Thompson episode, wherein Mr Thompson, referring to Mr Dibb's Financial Statement, charged that gentleman with i converting a deficit intd a surplus.
