Naples, December 1.
A report ha 3 been received m this city that the town of Bisignano, m Calabria, has been destroyed by earthquake. A rescue party have up to the present extricated twenty dead bodies, and fears are entertained for the safety of a number of inhabitants who are still missing. The villages m the vicinity havo been more or less damaged by the earthquake. [Bisignauo, anciently known as Besld'te. is a town of Naploß, m the provincial diatriot of Calabria Oitra, having about 50G0 inhabitants. It 1b fifteen miles north of Ooaenzi, and about 145 miles S . «• . of the to wn of Naples. It posaeßßes a oaatle, a cathedral, and Beveral churches. The principal trade is m Bilk,]
