UNIONIST DEMONSTRATION.
SPEECHES BY LORD HARTINGTON AND MR GOSCHEN. [renter's telegrams — coryßioHT,] * London, November 30. A great Unionist demonstration took place m Dublin to-day. The gathering comprised the leading representatives of the commercial and industrial interests, the professions being also well represented. The principal speakers were tha Marquis of Hartington, and Mr Goschen, Chancellor of the Exchequer, bolh of whom declared that the meeting then assembled proved, though numerically m a minority, they were a power whereon the greatness and prosperity of Ireland depended. Both gentlemen m vigorous terms opposed the granting of Home Rule. The greatest enthusiasm prevailed throughout the meeting. " Received December 2, 1 .5 p.m.) London. Deoember 1.
