The Show was marred to a great extent by ruin showers, and th. attendance was not so good as otherwise. In thoroughbrod stallions, to everyone's surprise, Gorton was awarded Is', Rubezahl 2nd, and Le Loup 3rd. Hams and bacon, McDonald and Miller, T. Bates, and A M. Allan scored firsts ia a closely contested competition. The fresh and salt bu'tor wns exceptionally g>od. Firsts were •akeii by Mrs A M ckay, Mrs Thornton, vliss Nimiuo, und Mrd ilutchisou. *o clioese, the Henley Dairy Faotory won Ist prizo. The oxhinits of _hee.io wore rather poor. '1 ho Ohristchurch breeders, Itowe and Clarkson, swept the board of prizes for Berkshire pigs Allan took three, and Ularksou ojih Ist m other clussoe of pigs Lord Salisbury rakes Ist iv all ug.d draughts, beating British l_on and Laird of Kilbad. Gawn's Pride's Dar ing took Ist with foal at fo >t.
