... .+ r . Cattle. — There was a moderate attendanoa of buyers at Addington yards yesterday. There was an average entry of cattle of fair quality and weight, for whioh the prices ruling last week were hardly maintained. The market finished languidly, Beef may be quoted at from 13s to 21b per 100! bs, according to quality. There wes a moderate entry and business m stores, prices ruling about tho same as last week. Dairy cows from £2 10a for poor, to £6 12* 6d for superior sorts. Oalves was bo Id at from 15s to 30s, according to age Three-year-old freeh steers were quitted at £3 7s 6d, and store oowa from £3 to £4, according to condition. - £xE»r. — Sheep m narnbera and quality were a short entry this week, and lam 1 s though scarce were a fair clsbb. Fodrtooth wetbero sold at from 8a G 1 to 10s, very prime ehorn crossbred wttherß 10a 9d Sheep In wool brcught 14a for wethers and maiden ewea. Of store sheep there was rather a larger eupply than Isst week. Bidding was by no means spirited. Four to six tooth small half-bredß (mixed eexer) sold at 4s 8i to 4i oi, ewoa and Umbs m wool 6s 3d to to 10j. A lot of 4 tooth wethers nearly fit for the butcher sold at 8s 4d. In orosobrod hoggete only medium lines were off-ring, and a short supply of lambs sold at various prices ranging from 5s 6d for email slijei to 9s 3d for superior. Fat lambs, good sorts, on an average sold about 8a Gd. Very prime uusbora wethers were on offer, and the best found buyerß at about 31 per lb, and for ah'rn np to 2d per lb, modiame fetohing If J per lb. Pig3.— There was not a heavy market In pigs. Bacon pigs from 20a to 40j, porkers 20j.
