THE SHEARERS AGITATION.

Melbofbne, November 20. The shearers' agitation is gaining ground m the Warrnambool district, and assuming more serious proportions. Mr Ware, owner of Barwedge station, Caramal, has declined to entertain the terms of the Shearers' Union, holding out against the men m a most determined manner, and his station is watched day and night by a body of Unionists, numbering forty, who have been detailed off for the purpose of harassing Mr Ware. A fight occurred at Woolsthorpe yesterday, and several persons were injured.
