NO LIGHTHOUSE.
Adelaide, November 18. The Colonial Treasurer has informed the Chamber of Commerce that Government is unable to accede to the suggestion of the Invercargill Chamber that this colony should co-operate with New Zealand m placing a lighthouse on the Auckland Islands.
