The " T'mes " reports that Monsignor Persico's report on the Irish difficulty has caused the Pope to be displeased with the attitude of the Irish clergy, and he has admonished them. It is reported that Mr Giadstone intends to visit Ireland m order to combat the effect of the Marquis of Hartington's visit to Dublin.
