Mr Joyoe gave notice of motion to ask Government whether, m order to maintain the education system, they would move lv the direction of imposing an annual tax of £1 per head (for three years only) upon the adult male population of the colony, also the Bum of £2 per head on bachelors over 30, £5 per head npon all bachelors and splnslers who pocgdM property worth £500 and upwards, MOTIONS.
