An inquest waß held • to-day on the body of a child, seven months old, named Harold Joseph Finlay, who died on Saturday from skin disease. Dr Colo, m his evidence, said that during 22 years ho had never saen 6uch terrible ulceration, tho neck being one mass of eorea, and other portions of tho body being alßo affected. Dr Collins thought death resulted from neglect m the parents not properly uttouding the child and keeping him clean. Evidence waß also called that notwithstanding tho daDgerous und peculiar symptoms shown by tho child, no medical aid was sought. The jury returned 1 void'ct of •' Death frutn natural causes," but added a rider censuring both father and mother for their neglect.
